Recently I was commissioned by London based architect Asif Khan to document one of his most recent projects " Radiant Lines".
This interactive project was specially commissioned and designed as the centre piece for The Light in Winter ( 1-22 June ) Festival at Federation Square.
"Radiant Lines"is an exploration of line, rhythm, velocity and volume. The circular sculpture is made of forty rings of raw aluminum that appear suspended in space. At dusk, hundreds of LED lights illuminate in a rhythm that mimics the pulsating nature of bioluminescence.
The whole structure was manufactured in Melbourne by Vistek.
Special thanks to Emma Kent at Eureka Tower Skydeck for granting me access to photograph from their viewing platform.
